What it does
Open a PDF and place your signature image on a page. The tool is the PDF editor in a reduced sign mode: add the signature, move and resize it, switch pages, and download the finished file.
1. Choose a PDF
2. Add the signature image and place it on the page
3. Select Save PDF
4. Download <file name> - edited.pdf
Choose a signature you drew earlier, or open the signature tool and create a new one. A signature saved in this browser can be placed directly. Page navigation, the page actions and the export stay available. The text, shape and drawing tools are hidden in this mode.
Use cases
Sign an offer, an invoice, a rental form or a permission slip that someone sent as a PDF. On a phone you draw the signature and place it in one go, and on a computer you reuse a signature you already saved and sign several documents one after another.
Limitations
The signature is an image placed on the page, so it does not lock the document and other people can still edit the file. It covers the content underneath and it is not searchable text. The signature keeps the size you give it, so a very small one can look soft when the page is printed. Files with many pages take longer to open, and a very large scan is slower to export.
