What it does
Create a signature image without printing a page, signing it and scanning it again. Draw the signature with a mouse or a finger, type your name and pick a handwriting font, or upload a PNG or JPG of a signature you already have.
1. Draw, type or upload the signature
2. Check the preview on a transparent background
3. Download signature.png
The preview crops the empty space around the signature, so the saved PNG is only as large as the ink. You can pick a black or blue pen, clear the drawing and start again, and optionally keep one signature in this browser to reuse later.
Use cases
Sign a contract, an offer, a form or a school note that arrives as a PDF. On a phone you draw the signature with a finger and send the PNG on, and on a computer you type the name and pick a font that matches your handwriting.
Limitations
A drawn signature keeps the shape of your strokes, so a very thin line can look rough once it is enlarged. A typed signature needs one of the four handwriting fonts, and a font that does not load cannot be used; these fonts cover Latin letters only, so a name in another script falls back to a generic handwriting font of the browser. An uploaded photo or scan only loses the near white pixels, so a shadow or a coloured background stays in the image. A signature you choose to keep is stored in this browser on this device, and clearing the browser data removes it.
